How to connect your custom domain to Alojalu

Configure A, CNAME and TXT, verify ownership and enable HTTPS for your direct site.

    Before you start

    • Custom domains are available from Premium. Enterprise supports more than one domain.

    • Do not change nameservers if you already use email or other services. Normally you only need to edit the current DNS zone.

    • Keep MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC to avoid breaking domain email.

    3. 3

Copy the www CNAME to the target shown by Alojalu.

    4. 4

Add the _alojalu-verify TXT record with your account unique token.

    5. 5

Wait for propagation and press Verify.

    Quick provider guides

    • NIC.UY / SeCIU: check NS first. If NIC hosts the zone, add A, CNAME and TXT there; if NS point elsewhere, edit the zone at that provider.

    • ANTEL / Dominios UY: open the domain, confirm where DNS is managed and add the three records without changing mail records.

    • NetGate / Montevideo COMM: if your plan has no DNS editor, send support the exact type, name and value shown by Alojalu.

    • Intersys / Hosting Montevideo: when they use cPanel, this is usually done in Zone Editor. First confirm those are your authoritative nameservers.

    • Netuy: use self-managed DNS to add A, CNAME and TXT.

    • HostingenlaWeb / RegistraTu.UY: if the domain is registered there but DNS is delegated elsewhere, make changes where the NS point.

    • Cloudflare: during initial verification keep A and CNAME as DNS only (gray cloud). TXT never uses proxy.

If verification or HTTPS remains pending

    • Confirm both @ and www point to Alojalu.

    • Remove an old apex AAAA if it still points to the previous host.

    • If CAA exists, it must allow letsencrypt.org so Dokploy can issue the certificate.

    • Do not remove the verification TXT: it proves you still control the domain.

    What Alojalu configures automatically

    • Your domain has its own robots.txt and sitemap.xml.

    • It also publishes llms.txt and llms-full.txt with canonical URLs and your accommodations to improve discovery by AI assistants and AI-powered search.

    • The homepage shows only your active accommodations.

    • Each accommodation uses a clean /alojamiento/name URL and the custom domain as canonical.

    • Your properties are removed from the global Alojalu sitemap to avoid duplicates.

    • Bookings sent from your domain arrive in the same Alojalu booking calendar and dashboard.
