Central Gramado or more space outside downtown
A central stay reduces transfers for dining, shopping and city walks. Families traveling by car may prefer a house or apartment outside the core for parking, kitchen facilities and larger common areas. Canela can also work as a nearby alternative when exploring the wider region.
What to check for a family trip
Look beyond the maximum guest number and check actual bed and bedroom layout, heating, kitchen facilities, bathroom count, elevators or stairs and parking. With young children or older travelers, simple access and realistic distances to planned activities are especially useful.
